EARTH HOUSING TOWER
This belvedere of 12 levels and about 36m high is built using different unstabilized raw earth techniques. The earth comes from the Ile-de-France excavation. The load-bearing envelope walls become thinner and go from 80 cm at the bottom to 35cm at the top. At each level, in addition to a terracotta base, a wooden protection covers the level below. These protections are enlarged in the upper floors to take into account the effects of the wind.
